PLANNING COMMISSION

The Mason Township Planning Commission is responsible for developing and adhering to a Comprehensive Plan for development and preservation of the Township and its land use. Recommendations are referred to the Township Board for action. Members are appointed by the Township Board. If a meeting is canceled a notice will be posted.

The Mason Township Planning Commission Board meets at the township hall at 6:30 PM on the following dates for 2025: January 21st, April 15th, July 15th and October 21st. BOARD OF REVIEW

The Mason Township Board of Review meets the second week of March, July, and December. The Board of Review reviews the tax roll, corrects any errors and hears appeals regarding property assessments. Members are appointed by the Township Board.

Residents may appeal assessments and taxes by meeting with the Board of Review or by mail to:

BUILDING BOARD OF APPEALS

The Building Board of Appeals considers interpretations of the building codes. Members are appointed by the Township Board.

ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS (Meets as needed)

The Zoning Board of Appeals considers requests for zoning changes, variances, and special land use permits. Members are appointed by the Township Board.
