Mason Township has volunteered as a commodities site for the surrounding area. This program has grown tremendously over the years, and provides a large assortment of food items, free of charge, for those families that qualify. It is no longer just cheese and butter!
Commodities are delivered to the Township Hall and are distributed monthly. Commodity dates are posted at the Mason Township Hall. Help is always needed carrying boxes and bags, or signing in qualified recipients. Training is available for anyone interested in helping with the Commodities Program. Please call the Township at (269) 641-5923.
Township offices are open Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. (EDT/EST). The Mason Township Clerk is available during these hours where applications for commodities can be completed and submitted.
